“Learning a language is a journey, and I see myself more as a guide than a teacher. While I lead and correct you, you will learn word meanings and grammar rules, acquire knowledge, and construct your own sentences.”
2002
I moved to live and pursue my education in the United States when I was 15 years old. I was able to learn the language and culture thanks to this encounter. I have firsthand knowledge of the phases a second language learner goes through as well as what it takes to acquire a language effectively over time. As a result, I created and implemented my first learning strategy, which I myself carried out, and after six months I could speak English at an intermediate level.
2011
I completed my four years of study at a famous university with honors, and a few months after I finished, I began working for the ministry of education as a classroom language teacher.
2013
I won my contest the following year and was hired as a university instructor. I have always loved teaching, and implementing the greatest teaching techniques has been my aim. This is why I chose to specialize in foreign languages while studying education.
2018
I’ve always had success by performing my duties to the highest standard”. I received a United States of America Excellence in Teaching and Achievement Award in 2018 as a result of all my accomplishments in teaching and education, and I subsequently traveled to the United States as an educational ambassador to represent my nation’s educational system. It was a wonderful opportunity to interact with educators from all over the world and discover more about their cultures and educational systems.
2019
In 2019, I Launched Spanish with Lorena, my personal brand For English speakers who want to finally learn Spanish in a meaningful and successful way through personalized courses targeted to your learning styles (multiple intelligences), needs, preferences, and motivations. “Language serves as a conduit between individuals and their cultures.” I developed my own methodology, the result of my extensive expertise and what seems to be beneficial at the time of language acquisition. Giving the student the best lessons depends on highlighting typical errors that Spanish learners make, responding to all of their concerns, and demonstrating L1 Interference and how to handle it.
